More than a Farm. A Destination.

Barton Orchards is a 175-acre apple orchard and pumpkin farm located in Poughquag, New York, that has been in the Barton family for over 40 years. We are the premier Pick Your Own farm in the Hudson Valley, and the perfect place to build traditions year after year. Stop by the General Store and Creamery to try our famous Apple Cider Donut Sundae. We also have a great selection of local craft beer, wine and cider at the Tap Room, with beautiful outdoor seating areas. You can visit the farm animals, dog park and playgrounds while you’re here. We have some really great festivals scheduled throughout the year, so please be sure to check our events calendar for updates!

The Barton Story

Barton Orchards was a wholesale apple farm started by Bruce and Rose Barton in the late seventies. The farm quickly became a family affair and grew to include the Apple Core, our Noxon Road farm stand…

“It’s a growing family tradition. Those three words are what we’ve become and what we’re all about.”
