The Farm
Is there an entry fee to the farm?
There is no charge to enter the farm during non-holiday weekdays or when we have live music at the Tap Room on Fridays and Saturday evenings. There is an entry fee during festival weekends when all farm activities are open, and during holiday weekdays, include Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Labor Day, and Columbus Day.

Is the farm open daily?
Yes the farm is open daily during the season, please click here to check our hours.
When is live music scheduled at the Tap Room?
We have live music on Friday and Saturday nights. Please check the events calendar on our website and follow us on Facebook or instagram for updates.
What is included in a farm day pass when I attend a festival?
Typically includes all farm activities such as:
- Fun Park featuring a Mega Slide, Pedal Carts, Cow Train, Mini Golf, and Tube Slides
- Carousel
- Haunted House
- Corn Maze
- Pig Races
- Unlimited Hayrides
- Entertainment such as magic shows or animal encounters
- Live Music all day!

Do you have Pick Your Own Vegetables?
Sorry, we no longer offer pick your own vegetables. Please visit our farm market, The Apple Core, located at 462 Noxon Road in Poughkeepsie for a selection of fresh, local produce.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, Barton Orchards welcomes well behaved dogs to the farm! The Bark Park is only accessible during regular business hours when the farm is open. Dogs must be leashed throughout the farm, with the exception of our dog park where they are allowed to run off leash. Dogs are allowed throughout the farm, including the orchard when picking.
Dogs are not allowed inside buildings or in the corn maze. Owners must clean up after their dogs whether in the parking lot, on the farm, or in the dog park.
When is the dog park, playground and petting zoo open?
The bark park, playground and petting zoo are only accessible during regular business hours when the farm is open.
Can I bring a group or bus to Barton Orchards?
We often see large groups looking to have a fun day at the farm. Advanced approval is required for buses and large groups to ensure parking and scheduling availability. Buses that have not been approved in advance may be turned away on arrival. To coordinate your group visit, please call 845-227-2306 or email info@bartonorchards.com. Payment is required in advance, different rates may apply.
Is there a charge for parking?
No. There is no charge for parking at Barton Orchards.
Is the Tap Room open daily?

Are outside food and beverages allowed ?
NO outside food or beverage. For safety reasons we aren’t able to allow outside beverages or food. We have water, food, and beverages available for purchase within the farm.
You may bring an empty reusable bottle to be filled on the farm.
Are drones allowed?
For he safety and comfort of all our guests. drones are not permitted at Barton Orchards. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us to create a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Do you take cash, credit card and apple pay?
The farm has rules. Why?
Some events and fall weekends can see a lot of visitors at Barton Orchards. We have rules for your safety, as well as the safety of our staff and liability. The farm spends months planting and tending to provide bountiful crops, amazing events and quality attractions. We ask that you please respect our rules for the safety of everyone. Our staff thrives on making your visit an enjoyable one!
— Upon entering the farm, our security may ask to check your bags as posted on the website and at the entrance.
— Children under 18 must stay with their parents or guardians at all times.
— Any produce that is picked must be purchased. No exceptions.
— Dogs are allowed on the property as long as they are leashed and the owner(s) clean up after them, with the exception of the following areas and activities:
* Any of the buildings (farm market, Tap Room, bakery, etc.)

Can I book a private event?
Yes, we have three beautiful event venues with modern amenities that can host from 25 to 500+ people. Please contact us or call the farm office at 845-227-2306 for details.
The Apple Core
Where is the Apple Core located?
The Apple Core is Barton Orchards’ year-round farm market and is located at 462 Noxon Road, Poughkeepsie, NY. It is NOT located at the farm. Get directions and see hours to the Apple Core
Do you take special orders?
Yes we do! Just make sure you call (845) 471-2879 to place your order and arrange a pick-up time. Just make sure you call a few days ahead of time so we can make the proper arrangement. Especially, if the order is large or very intricate.
Do you sell gift cards?
We do! You can currently purchase digital eGift Cards, which are able to be used in all three locations.
